Favorite Moments from Thanksgiving

Feels like we've been traveling for the past month. We've been home in between trips but it has been a busy November and early December. Our yearly trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving made for lots of memories.
The GIANT pile of leaves in Mike and Steph's backyard is still being discussed by our children.

Addy preferred to sit and watch or sweep leaves but we did catch one shot of her in the leaves.
How can you not love Eleanor?
This face melts my heart every day.
Jack would play outside all day and night if we lived in a warmer climate.

Thanksgiving Recap

We long to be back in Atlanta with our family . . .

And not just because of all of the great food.

Although I have to brag about my sister-in-laws and their amazing cooking skills. Stephanie makes THE best turkey and Tracie makes homemade samosas every year. Seriously, I don't think I stopped eating all weekend long.

The cousins had a GREAT time together. They ran around the house chasing each other, watched movies and even went on a Turkey Egg hunt orchestrated by the favorite Uncle Mikey.

(headbands from Grandma Shirlene. Adorable)

Addy wore the binoculars almost the entire weekend. She usually had a sword too but she needed her hands free to carry her turkey eggs. She's a character.

I almost brought Caleb home with me as my carry-on. He is one cute boy.
He and Joshua would both sing and try to entertain Ella.
These two girls are about 7 months apart.

We attempted a picture of the kids. Notice anyone missing?
Yep, Addy refused to participate in any group shots of the cousins.
This was the best we could do.
(Lily is missing too.)

So glad that we are able to spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's sisters.

Turkeys

We spent a whole week in Atlanta with Ryan's sisters and their families.

We roasted marshmallows and had S'mores.

Jack with his favorite things of the weekend. Cookies, his hat, his helicopter and Woody doll.

We helped change the landscaping at Mike and Steph's house.
The neighbors thought we were a bunch of hillbillies when we used a rope and a truck to tear out some of the bushes.

Trying to get 5 kids under the age of 5 to pose for a picture is quite entertaining.
Jack did some working out at the indoor play gym.

Can't wait to get back down to Atlanta.
