We're all a little tired

Jack has a new toddler bed. He slept well in the first week. Got into bed, looked at books and went to sleep. Nap time was a breeze too. See how peaceful he sleeps with ALL of his stuffed animals. (the only time he left his bed that first week was to round up all of his animals and bring them into bed with him.)

This is what happened this week.

I hear his door open and a little voice say, "Hi, Mommy."
This is what I saw when I looked up the stairs.

I go upstairs to see what is going on

and Jack runs to his bed as if to say, "I've been here all along. I have no idea how my room got to be such a mess."

20 minutes later and all is quiet. I sneak in to see what is happening and I find

Jack snuggled up with his Lamby chair. He finally gave out.

I return downstairs to find this.

This is her new favorite sleep position. And yes, that is her thumb in her mouth.

(I think I might love the thumb.)

At least he fell asleep in his room. All is good in Zion when everyone sleeps.

Him sleeping on his chair is so, so sweet. Yay for both sleeping at the same time!

Connor discovered his thumb shortly after he was born. Our first thumbsucker, I'm too thrilled not to have to find binkies to worry about how hard it might be to break later! Enjoy the thumb. The thumb is good!

They are both so cute! The thumb maybe a good thing. I can't wait to baby-sit for them again!
