We help Jack say prayers as part of his bedtime routine. Last night's prayer was classic. (Jack's words in italics)
Heavenly Father
Thank you for this daaaaay
Thank you for trains
Thank you airplanes
Thank you for cars
Thank you Adam
Thank you singing
Please bless gurrrllll
Please bless mommy
Please bless daddy
Amen
Can you tell what we did today? His prayer is a travelogue of our day and his favorite things.
We went to the airport to drop Daddy off and got to see airplanes. We played with the trains and cars at the children's museum. Jack went to his friend Adam's house and played with trains and played Rock Band (singing). Jack LOVED Rock Band. He danced, sang and clapped for the other players. (Addy loved Rock Band too and fell asleep on my friend April's shoulder as April sang songs from Boston and the B-52's) Can't wait to see what Jack says in his prayer highlights tonight.

I love that he calls her "gurl". I wonder if that will stick with her for the rest of her life.
